Product Description

Meng Ding Yellow Tea (蒙顶黄芽) is a rare and historic treasure from Mengding Mountain, Ya’an City, Sichuan Province, with a heritage of over 2,000 years. As one of the earliest recorded tribute teas to the emperors of the Han Dynasty, this tea embodies both tradition and refinement.

The 2025 Mingqian harvest is picked exclusively from tender buds before the Qingming Festival. Its leaves are flat and straight, with evenly shaped buds that exude a delicate floral fragrance. Once brewed, the tea liquor glows a gentle golden-yellow, offering a bright, refreshing taste with a lingering smoothness.

Yellow tea is very lightly oxidized, sitting between green and white teas in processing style, making it gentler on the stomach while retaining high antioxidant content. A rare choice for connoisseurs, it combines historical prestige with modern wellness.
