Yong Xi Huo Qing 涌溪火青
Yong Xi Huo Qing 涌溪火青
- deep-roasted chestnut sweetness, rounded long-lasting astringency
Yong Xi Huo Qing is a kind of dark green tea produced in Fengkeng, Pankeng and Shijingkeng Wantou Mountain, 70 kilometers east of Jing County, Anhui Province. This area is surrounded by cloud-shrouded mountains and dense forests, deep valleys and streams, flowers and plants. A neutral pH (5.8-6.5) content of the soil combined with favorable ecological conditions makes tea growing very suitable in this region.
Its appearance is unique and beautiful – fine dense grains, dark ember green body and silver tips. Each grain unfolds into an orchid-like silhouette and steeps a bright yellow apricot soup. Every infusion is a torrent of deep-roasted chestnut sweetness rounded off with long-lasting astringency.
